Tad Lombardo is Head Chocolatier at Cioccolato Lombardo. Tad’s life took a decidedly sweet turn in 2009 when he left behind a disenchanting career in engineering and created Cioccolato Lombardo.
Although relatively new to the game, Cioccolato Lombardo have well and truly made up for their late entry into the world of Chocolate. They make exquisite chocolates using Felchlin Couverture and an unbeatable selection of fine and often unusual flavours. Tad’s attention to detail and palate for mixing the unusual has recently earned him a Gold Medal from the Royal Melbourne Show Fine Food Awards. Tad has also collaborated with Ben Shewry to create some amazing desserts for one of Melbourne’s top restaurants, Attica.
